Position Overview
Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Finance/Accounting Assistant to join our team. As a Finance/Accounting Assistant you will play a critical role in processing payroll, accounts receivables and payable, and other general support on the Finance Team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
- Process bi-weekly Payroll
- Process Payroll Change Requests
- Process all travel, education, garnishments, or any other accounting/payroll related items accurately and timely.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliation.
- Prepare required reports for management in a timely and effective manner.
- Answer employee payroll or accounting related questions
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting related role
- Advanced knowledge of accounting fundamentals (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, Etc.)
- Intermediate skills with QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with both accounting and non-accounting coworkers
- Detail oriented, organized, and exceptional data entry skills with ability to input data effectively and correctly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Payroll process and reports
- Previous experience with DOD contracts and government accounting
- Workers Comp audit knowledge
Education/Experience
College degree or a combination of experience/education in lieu of degree
