DOCS Health is a dynamic and rapidly growing National healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical services to the Department of Defense and other State and Federal Agencies. We also provide dental services to Family members of the Military and to Veterans in a DSO (Dental Service Organization) setting.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to lead our financial management efforts.  This position reports to the CEO.

 

The Vice President of Finance will oversee and manage all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and management within the healthcare industry. This key leadership role will collaborate with the executive team to drive financial growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the long-term growth of DOCS Health.


  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with DOCS Health's mission and goals.
  • Financial Planning: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure optimal resource allocation and financial stability.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial performance reporting, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.  Work closely with External Accountants on year-end Tax Returns and on Audited Financial Statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including healthcare industry-specific regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk assessment and management strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Vendor Relationships: Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize vendor performance to achieve cost savings.
  • Board Communication: Present financial information and updates to the Senior Leadership and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Banking: Manage the relationship with our Banking Partners.  Prepare cash flow projections and manage cash flow operations.  

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; Must be an MBA or CPA.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong background in healthcare finance.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with SAP Hana and implementing new or upgraded accounting systems is required.
  • Finance and Accounting experience at Dental Service Organizations (DSO) preferred.
  • Strong Treasury Management experience including managing debt agreements and covenant reporting.
  • Experience managing monthly close process for multi-entity company operating in domestic and international locations.
  • Hands-on cash management and cash forecasting
  • Experience with implementing product and project profitability reporting
  • Ability to work with internal and external parties to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to operate under tight deadlines in fast-growth environment.
  • Experience with government contract accounting a plus.
