About This Role
iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced, motivated Finance Systems, Sr. Manager to join our FP&A organization. This role will collaborate across numerous areas of the business including, but not limited to, Finance, Accounting, and IT. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, a drive to lead continuous improvements and an ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment. We expect this role to be remote with occasional office visits as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the business lead/owner of our EPM tool, Adaptive Planning, including day to day support for maintenance and administering of the planning system
- Create enhanced automation and advanced reporting capabilities utilizing our systems
- Drive efficiencies by eliminating manual processes through understanding of the business needs
- Develop a relationship with the Finance organization in order to provide the proper support, training, and strategic thinking when it comes to financial system needs and execution
- Act as an interface to IT for projects within the finance functional area, including issue resolution.
- Be involved in the strategic system roadmap of iRhythm as we enhance our system capabilities
- Train and support finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience
- An in depth understanding of financial planning systems, data management, FP&A, and ERP systems
- Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and financial reporting
- Understands key performance measures and indicators that drive reporting and analytics
- Proven quantitative and critical-thinking skills, with a high level of independent judgment and initiative
- Established expertise in financial operations, financial controls, GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects and priorities with various deadlines
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
- Ability to work in a remote environment as a sole contributor
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Experience and understanding of Workday's Adaptive Planning tool
- Experience integrating a new ERP system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment
Travel Requirements:
- Less than 10% domestic travel required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
- Additional hours may be required (exempt positions)
