FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER (REMOTE)

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 + bonus eligibility

Job Summary
Foodbuy is the foodservice industry's leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations. Currently we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as an Operations Manager, Quality Control.
The Operations Manager, Quality Control is responsible for providing advanced level analytical and managerial support to the Quality Control organization. The primary function of Quality Control is to perform detailed research/analysis to validate financials (prior to invoicing) and ensure data integrity for over $24 billion in purchase volume by manufacturer, distributor, and customer.
Responsibilities:

• Provide dynamic leadership, guidance, and training on a daily basis
• Direct and oversee activities of 6 Analysts
• Manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high team morale
• Act as a subject matter expert on issues relating to the Quality Control functions
• Responsible for financial validation of over $24 billion in annual purchase volume (food/non-food) and over $1.2 Billion in billed volume allowances
• Innovate and improve processes around Quality Control functions
• Present findings to senior management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
• Establish and implement SMART KPIs and achieve world-class results through metrics management and holding associates accountable to established targets
• Lead special projects and dedicate resources as needed
• Resolve customer challenges, ad-hoc requests and concerns
• Ensure that team dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders are carried out professionally/ethically

Qualifications:

• Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required
• 3+ years of personnel management experience
• 3+ years of financial analysis, trend analysis, and/or audit experience required
• Experience working with units of measure/conversions/complex calculations preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, SQL, Power BI, Power Query
• General understanding of business/contractual terms and conditions required (3+ years of contract management experience preferred)
• Experience interacting with internal and external customers
• Moderate travel required (typically to the Corporate office in Charlotte)
• Results driven and detail oriented
• Analytical problem solving
• Collaborative - works well as a member of a team
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• High level of Integrity and Ethics
