Finance Intern Sylacauga, Alabama
USA/CAN Objective The Finance Intern will be responsible for compiling and analyzing a combined business unit trial balance, managing business unit account reconciliation process, defining and creating financial reports, coordinating audit reviews and year end audits Main Responsibilities
• Processing corporate consolidations
• Preparing annual corporate reporting packages
• Uploading and maintaining budgets in SAP
• Value creation calculation, reporting, and charting
• Assisting with annual statutory financials and footnotes
• Leading on completing the annual Alfa package
• Assisting with month end file submissions
• Month end bank reconciliations
• Standard monthly journal entries and journal processes
Position Requirements
• Pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
• Advanced Excel skills
• SAP experience a plus
• Familiar with drilling into an ERP system to gather and investigate data
