Final Inspection Detailer - Fortner Engineering

Overview of the Position:

Performs thorough inspections on assembled units and parts. Carefully packages items for safe transport to customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that finished goods are retrieved from production.
• Final inspections tasks are completed.
• Issuing and reviewing FAA documents.
• Ability to read, digest and apply the CMM requirement as they identify, process and inspect the part.

• Executing daily work plans for each department.
• Provide performance feedback both formally and informally to Final Inspection Detailer employees.
• Ability to navigate the ERP system.
• Ability to prepare unit to ship, i.e., determine size, type of box, and packaging, etc.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent visual accuracy.
• Multitasker.
• Must have the Federal Aviation Regulation Part 65, Subpart E (be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language).

Education / Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have 1-3 years of experience in MRO or relevant.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
