SalaryEmpath Home Health, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a Final Biller. The Final Biller assists the Administrator to prepare and submit billing for patient services.
The Final Biller:
- Verifies scheduling of visit date.
- Verifies receipt of patient care documentation for each visit and date scheduled.
- Verifies number of visits.
- Files and stores all billing notes.
- Performs billing in conjunction with the Corporate Billing Department.
- Maintains billing activity.
- Assists in resolving payroll issues with field staff.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in office management, billing or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare billing guidelines.
