Overall Goal
To engage students through the Creating Creators filmmaking curriculum, and complete 3 short films with other filmmakers, teachers, and students in an apprenticeship style learning environment.
General Knowledge and Experience
- Must have a 4-year degree in film production, preferably Film.
- Must have been part of a production of at least one feature film, or four short films as a writer, producer, director, editor or cinematographer.
- Must be allowed to legally work in the US.
- Must pass a background check before a contract is offered.
- Must accept and be willing to learn more on how a video production is an very effective tool in developing social emotional skills and career and college readiness.
- Must have a car**.
Duties
- 40hrs of shadowing is required.
- Generally 5 hours per week, per class is required.
- Work can be early in the morning, or in the afternoon.
- Must be willing to attend monthly zoom or in person meetings.
- Must be willing to prep with fellow Teaching Artists, before or after classes.

Compensation and hours: (Average)
- 40 hrs of shadowing - rate- $17/hr
- Teaching Artist compensation is $40/hr after training, and classroom placement.
