This well-established global company design, deploy and support the telecom industry across 4 keys sectors including subsea, wireless, data centres and fixed lines! With huge growth plans within the US market, they are looking to add to their skilled team of field engineers in Kansas City!
You will be responsible the installation, cabling and wiring services for commercial telecom and Fiber. Covering a local patch in Kansas City, you will have full autonomy to support the customer. Duties will include, furnish ground equipment, testing cables, installing cables / Fiber, racking, splicing, swap in and swap out equipment, wiring, inspecting routers and more. This will mainly be within data centres!

The role;
* Field telecom engineer
* Commercial Fiber & Telecom cabling, installation, and testing,
* Autonomy on customers sites and repeat visits on a localized patch in Kansas City!
* Connecting test sets or test router to equipment, Copper cabling testing, and fiber testing
* Working within data center environments
* Covering Kansas City in as field-based role working from home!
* 40 hours a week, overtime available and occasional on call!
The person
* Must have commercial cabling and fiber experience
* Experience within data centers would be highly desirable
* Strong people skills
* Full driving license
* Happy to do some overtime when required!
