Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Operate light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, vacuum, equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc., tank cleaning, hydro excavating & hydro blasting;
- Performs emergency response activities including, but not limited to chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination, etc.;
- Works in potentially elevated noise levels, confined spaces, including lifting in areas of low clearance.
Under direct supervision, the chemical cleaning technician is responsible for completing appropriate paperwork and safely operating necessary equipment on jobs requiring Chemical Cleaning technology for maintenance and turnarounds at client's site in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices and procedures.
Essential duties:
- Practices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
- Operates all necessary equipment in the chemical cleaning service line in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures.
- Performs job set up tasks
- Performs maintenance when required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Environment:
- Industrial setting, refinery, petrochemical, utilities, pulp and paper mills, etc.

TWIC card
Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
Ability to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays
Obtain satisfactory results from a background/ employment history investigation and drug screening
