Job Description
Objective:
Michigan CAT's Field Swing EPG works to service our customers with rental power generation units.
Responsibilities:
- Lubricating, oiling and maintaining equipment in the field at customer locations and may make minor repairs
- Complete a Field Risk Assessment on every work required
- Can perform Service Letter Updates (Caterpillar sourced) limited to less than one day and not needing a crane and or experienced computer diagnostics
- Will not be able to perform Load Banking on units
- Support EPG Field Technicians on larger jobs
- Ensure 100% safety compliance. Field Swing EPG will not be utilized in any Emergency Call rotation.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of Diesel Engine maintenance experience
- 1-3 years of Electrical Diagnosis and repair experience preferred
- CDL A
- DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
