Position Overview

This organization provides financial services, Field Support, payroll, accounts payable, vendor support and business relationship management functions for our company. We are hiring a Field Support Lead to be a part of this high performing organization, responsible for providing outstanding support and customer service to all areas of the Kiewit organization. In this role you will lead and train Field Support Coordinators that are handling inbound calls, email cases, and chat requests covering a variety of services provided by KBS. It is a fast-paced, challenging environment that provides each team member with the opportunity to continuously learn and grow in all facets of Kiewit's core business activities. The KBS Field Support team provides the front-end support for all departments within Kiewit Business Services and is part of the Organizational Services Department.

District Overview
Kiewit Business Services (KBS) is a cross-functional shared service organization that provides the business units with customer-specific services focused on cost and business value. Our services include non-core, yet essential, functions of our businesses including accounts payable, accounts receivable, change control, human capital management, payroll, project initiation, compliance and continuous improvement.
Location
This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street but will be moving to our new office location at 7700 Eastport Parkway, La Vista Nebraska mid 2024.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of Field Support Specialists which will include training, mentoring, quality control, productivity and providing guidance with troubleshooting and problem solving.
Understand and fully utilize ServiceNow technology to alleviate customer-impacting concerns; ensure prompt and accurate assignment and resolution of service requests.
Monitor team workloads and assist and backup as necessary; support team in responding to internal customer questions and concerns.
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external Kiewit departments; understand Kiewit's core business, organizational structure and departmental functions; promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues.
Understand, communicate and monitor internal control processes and procedures within the Field support operations team.
Communicate pertinent information to supervisor and manager immediately; provide specialist performance feedback to manager.
Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement.
Perform other job specific tasks as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of professional business experience in an office environment, providing customer support.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Associates or Business degree in Business (or related field) preferred.
Previous SAP experience preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar system preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Prior work experience in a shared service organization, providing customer support preferred.
Demonstratable Leadership skills including relationship building, coaching, collaboration, team building, problem solving and decision-making
Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to develop specific goals for the team and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish daily work and projects
Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization and develop highly effective teams and alliances
Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
