Field Supervisor / Assistant Project Manager (Construction) – Stellar Management
Stellar Management, a premier real estate investment and management firm with a 30-year history of success in New York City, is seeking a highly skilled Field Supervisor to join our team. As the Field Supervisor, you will play a critical role in representing our company on construction sites across the 5 boroughs, overseeing the implementation of Local Law 11 projects focusing on façade restoration and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure vendors are performing work in accordance with project plans and standards through diligent site supervision
- Maintain open lines of communication with project managers, vendors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Plan and execute a routine site visits schedule to monitor project progress and provide regular updates
- Compile daily and weekly reports and provide daily photo updates of job activities and progress for each project/site
- Collaborate effectively with both internal and external colleagues
- Process administrative work including contractor bidding process, project cost updates, and constructability review of documents
- Support portfolio analysis and upcoming LL11 projects (façade restoration and repairs)
- Assist Project Manager with activities such as RFPs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Requirements
- OSHA 30-hour certification (company willing to sponsor)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated experience in façade restoration and repairs, including masonry, roofing, sidewalks, and easements
- Ability to commute across NYC via car or public transit
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and project specifications
- Thorough understanding of job site regulations and NYC building/city codes
- Willingness to learn and utilize technology such as Procore, Teams, Outlook, Dropbox etc.
Salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
