Job title: Field Service Technician
Location: Youngstown, OH
Job Duties:

• Provide on-site support, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and assist with installations of electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems according to the company procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
• Assist in performing Factory Acceptance Testing under supervision.
• Document service activities, including maintenance reports and service records.
• Assist in training customers in basic equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Five plus years of experience in an electrical role with a focus in electrical equipment manufacturing required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use multimeter, hand, and power tools.
• Ability to run conduit and pull wires.
• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

• Must live in the Youngstown area.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening (including driving check).
• Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four-plus hours at a time.
• Ability to stoop and bend for four-plus hours.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and at heights.
• Ability to work on call 24/7, holidays, and weekends required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant technical certification or associate degree preferred.
