Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Field Technician Trainee. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced field technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of our products in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of customer equipment
- Learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues to senior technicians
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Some overtime and occasional overnight travel
Physical Demands:
· Exert force of 50-100 lbs. occasionally, 25-50 lbs. frequently, 10-20 lbs. constantly
· Bend, push, pull, reach, crawl, drive, moving constantly
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license - insurable driving record
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- 1-3 years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent
- Ability to recognize common mechanical and electrical components
- Apply system troubleshooting skills effectively
- Effective customer relations skills
