Field Service Technician (Instrumentation)

As an Instrumentation Technician (also known as Field Service Technician, Process Control Technician), you will perform field and shop repair services for pressure, temperature, differential transmitters, and general process control instrumentation. This includes new installation, start-up services, and working away from home for weeks at a time at customer facilities. You'll also interact with customers to promote service contracts and conduct customer trainings.

• 5+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician or instrumentation technician, with a strong knowledge in the calibration of field instruments such as level, pressure, and temperature transmitters.
• Strong electrical knowledge including ability to read and understand wiring diagrams – single phase, three phase, AC and DC and ability to troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and excellent driving record.
