Duties to Include but not limited to:
The role of the Technician will be to maintain each freeze conditioning system to ensure a continuous operation. The technician must be available to make service calls upon request and will be required to make repairs / adjustments as required. The Technician will also be responsible for ordering and receiving freeze conditioning agents for each of the systems maintaining an inventory level to ensure sufficient freeze conditioning agents are available through the freeze conditioning season. Daily checks of the systems will be required, and inventory consumptions rates and levels recorded. This information is to be forwarded to Crown Products & Services.
Job Requirements:
- Preference will be given to those with an electrical background or electrical certification. Mechanical background would be an asset.
- Must have experience working in a manual labor role where hands and or tools are used.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and recognize unsafe situations.
- Must have a valid drivers license and safe driving record, no criminal history and will require own vehicle.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and fluent English.
- Must be able to communicate professionally
Tools & Equipment:
- Various electrical tools and meters.
- Various mechanical tools pipe wrenches.
- Various references to equipment.
- Various forms for reporting.
Freeze Conditioning Agents:
Depending on the application the freeze conditioning agent that may be used will be but not limited to our Crown Products & Services FC1200, FC1115CA, FC5000,FC1150, and FC1165. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) will be provided.
Working Procedure:
- Completes daily system checks and records same.
- Completes daily inventory checks and records daily consumption of freeze conditioning agents.
- Completes daily inspections of all nozzles and headers to insure proper spray patterns and cleans / replaces nozzles as required.
- Orders and receives freeze conditioning agents as required.
- Forwards copies of all receipts and reports to Crown Products & Services personnel.
