Job Posting for Field Service Technician Apprentice (Temporary job of 4 to 5 months)
A temporary Full-time Field Service Technician Apprentice position is immediately available with on-the-job training for the right candidate. The position demands a high level of competency for on-site productivity and communications throughout installation projects. The focus will be on the installation of flow control devices for sinks and showers. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, customer service focused and adapts to overcome challenges. Training will be provided.
Job/Project Responsibilities:
A temporary Full-time Field Service Technician Apprentice position is immediately available with on-the-job training for the right candidate. The position demands a high level of competency for on-site productivity and communications throughout installation projects. The focus will be on the installation of flow control devices for sinks and showers. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, customer service focused and adapts to overcome challenges. Training will be provided.
Job/Project Responsibilities:
- Performs installation services as a member of a team of technicians
- Follows all hospital rules of etiquette, health, and safety
- Organizes and maintains tools, equipment, and materials
- Assists with startup and closeout of projects
- Learns the ins and outs of recording details of the project in the WSS FixtureCare App
- Communicates red flags and concerns to the team Lead
- Adapts to project variations as needed
- Job will involve flexible hours including some Saturdays and evenings for the duration of the job

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and adaptable to changing conditions
- Willingness to work with hands and basic plumbing tools
- Physically fit to walk for long periods when carrying loads up to 40 lbs. while bending or stooping
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Immunizations required to work in healthcare facilities
- Blue jeans and WSS logo polo shirts are appropriate work attire
Compensation: • Starting $20 per hour
