Power Careers LLC is partnered with a power OEM that manufactures single and 3phase power systems for customers across the US. This client is looking to add a Field Service technician to their Dayton, OH team.
Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician who is passionate about solving technical challenges on the go, from in-house tasks to international fieldwork across the US.
In this role, you'll ensure seamless operations by performing preventative maintenance, field repairs, and equipment commissioning on UPS Systems, variable transformers, various power electronics --just to name a few!
Responsibilities:
- Complete trouble tickets, including break-fix and repair of the company's equipment systems in the field.
- Perform start up services on all products such as, regulator and UPS products at customer sites.
- Provide written reports for all repair activities including time sheets and expense reports to support the timely invoicing of customers.
- Train new technicians.
- Be prepared for dispatch to troubleshoot, repair, and fix systems anywhere in the US.
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of a 2-year technical degree in electronic or electrical engineering technology and at least one year of related experience. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good understanding of power quality equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, specifications, and operation manuals
