Scope of Position:
Position is currently 90-day contract-to-hire. Candidates should be prescreened to confirm that they fit the below requirements listed.
Transition rate upon full time hire to CompuCom will be a maximum of $19.00/hr - $21.00 / hr for entry level technicians with benefits. Please make sure you set that expectation up front.
• Need 1 resource to perform Break & Fix work during Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm
* Will need to be available to work O/T as requested
* Will be required once trained to serve in the on call rotation
• Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA's)
• Technician will travel to each client's location
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer
• Works under general supervision of the assigned FSM, Field Service Mgr.

Minimum Requirements:
• 3 years plus supporting Desktops, Laptops and Printers. and servers
• 3 years plus with customer service experience
• 3 years plus Field Service experience
• Needs Reliable Transportation while working in the "home " NYNY Service city.
• Must live in or be willing to travel into and work in NYC.
• When working in NYC can utilize mass transit
• All mileage, tolls , parking due to CC activity will be reimbursed accordingly and per policy
• Able to work a weekend shift, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends
• Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
• Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Should be willing to work from a ladder/lift
* Should be willing to perform work in clients homes
Basic Needs/Haves
• Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
• Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines)
• Laptop (CC provided)
• Basic Hand Tools
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass both a background and Drug screen
Must have 1 Certification
• CompTIA A+
• OEM Printer Warranty Certifications, focus on Client and Lexmark
• OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications, DELL, Client and Lenovo
• Server experience would be a bonus
• Networking knowledge
