Job Description:
We are seeking a Field Service Electrical Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment on-site, investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and performing routine repairs. You will partner with customers to ensure excellent communication and service. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all new or modified installations of equipment and electrical components have been completed to ensure full functionality according to applicable industry standards, company standards, and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Review performance reports and documentation from customers and inspect malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine the nature and scope of the problem.
- Analyze inspection reports to determine the source of the problem and make repairs, replacements, or other corrective actions.
- Coordinate problem resolutions with Field Service, Engineering, and other inter-company departments to expedite repairs.
- Maintain records of reports and submit reports to the Field Service Supervisor.
- Provide recommendations to the Field Service Supervisor on recurring equipment problems noted in the field to instigate corrective action in design, production, and/or service to eliminate future problems.
- Ensure regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, and ability to work overtime.
- Work cooperatively with others, deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities by planning, assigning, and directing work; resolving problems; directing employees’ work; providing for the safety of the employees; and determining the techniques to be used.
Requirements:
- One to three years as an electrical journeyman; or equivalent combination of education and experience to include the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to arrive at work punctually and work on-site.
- Must be able to travel!
