Field Registered Nurse -Niagara County-PER DIEM

We are currently hiring for a Field RN in our Niagara County Area! As a Field RN at Venture Forthe, you will be responsible for providing job training to home health aides, and personal care aides. Assists in the agency’s continuing education/ in-service program and field competency testing of all clinical staff.

Nursing Recruitment Bonus Program

Eligible RN Hires and Payment Structure:

• Full Time hires will receive $2,500 after 90 days of continuously working, 2nd bonus at $2,500 after 6 months of continuously working, 3rd bonus of $2,500 at 270 days working, and the final $2500 at one year of employment for a total of $10,000.

Job Requirements

• NYS licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers/patients or employees of the agency.
• Excellent organizational writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
• Required to participate in on-call rotation.
• Home Care experience is a plus, but not required.

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the coordination, development and direct supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff
• Provides in-field professional supervision and on-the-job training to personal care aides
• Assists with teaching Personal Care Aide training classes
• Provides medical oversight for clients in their homes- including but not limited to assessments, obtaining MD orders, monthly contacts and maintaining an appropriate Plan of Care
