What to Expect
This role is for a Service MRB Technician. We looking for a candidate who brings a wealth of experience in automotive maintenance and testing to the table. In our fast-paced and thrilling environment, it is essential for the candidate to be passionate and self-motivated, always striving to surpass their limits. Our team collaborates with engineering groups across different disciplines, requiring the need for excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with seasoned industry veterans, highly talented recent graduates, and individuals from various career stages. We value exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of being demonstrated in both solo and collaborative contexts.

The shift is Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.
What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered
  • Provide detailed written & verbal updates to key stakeholders
  • Thorough documentation of all work performed through internal software database (JIRA) and WarpMRB
  • Order necessary parts and consumables required to perform repairs & retrofits
  • Work alongside outside vendors to ensure that incoming and in-process material are in compliance with Tesla’s specifications
  • Execute root cause analysis, identify and implement short/long term countermeasures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience as an Engineering technician or 3+ years as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required for project deadlines

Expected Compensation

$28.75 - $54.44/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
