Full Time 12 Month contract with potential to be extended.

Role Location, Remote Chicago

We are currently seeking a full-time contractor to contribute to the execution of marketing events in our central region. Reporting directly to the Director of Field Marketing, Americas, this role will work closely with the Central Sales Leader, and involves crafting and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan for the specified region.

The position requires close collaboration with various teams, including Product Marketing, Communications, Partner Marketing, Developer Relations, Community, and Digital Demand Generation. Additionally, coordination with the broader Field Marketing team, regional Field Sales, SDR team, and SE's is essential for the successful development and execution of marketing activities aimed at fostering pipeline growth, generating meetings and enhancing market awareness.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity, particularly for individuals seeking to re-enter the Field Marketing domain after a hiatus or for those with diverse marketing experience eager to immerse themselves in the dynamic realm of event marketing.

Responsibilities

Planning:

  • Work closely with the Regional sales leader, the Director of Americas Field Marketing and other stakeholders to create annual and quarterly marketing plans.
  • Manage budget and negotiate regional vendor relationships.

Demand Generation:

  • Execute events in order to achieve regional pipeline goals
  • Work with sales to help accelerate opportunity cycles and expand existing accounts.
  • Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including agencies and fulfillment services.
  • Work with Partner Marketing and the regional Business Development Manager on joint partner events and campaigns.

Awareness:

  • Work with the Corporate Communications team to identify and deliver new Case Studies.
  • Support Developer Relations and Community teams on their regional programs and events including Developer Meetups.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Ensure that each marketing activity is tracked and measured
  • Use data and dashboards to inform future tactics and programmatic campaign adjustments
  • Monitor the delivery and execution of plans, and measure effectiveness of resource allocation, efficiency and ROI to inform any adjustments

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in managing events within a B2B context, preferably with exposure to the enterprise software sector. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working independently yet collaboratively, possessing a unique blend of organizational prowess, creativity, and hands-on initiative. Adaptability is key, as responsibilities may range from participating in planning meetings one day to reviewing email invitations the next, and running/managing conference booths shortly after. We seek a versatile individual with a proactive mindset and a keen eagerness to learn.

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
