Summary – Field Laborer - Driller’s Assistant: In this position you would play a key role in exploring what’s underneath the earth’s surface by drilling core samples, which are later used to perform engineering analysis.

Responsibility Summary – Field Laborer - Driller’s Assistant:
- Assists in all phases of drilling activities.
- Preparing sampling and drilling equipment for use
- Act as an assistant to a lead driller in pulling core samples of subsurface materials.
- Operating an auger which will require you to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Monitoring well development after installation and/or prior to sampling
- Backfilling and repairing pavement at completed borehole sites
Qualification Summary – Field Laborer - Driller’s Assistant:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license (CDL holders preferred)
- Occasional overnight during the week but primarily local work - paid travel time within an hour or two radius from KC.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proven willingness to work outdoors in varying climates and temperatures
- Manual dexterity
- Capable of performing the essential responsibilities and physical requirements of this role
- Employment contingent on passing drug screen, criminal history background check, and motor vehicle record check
