The primary role of the Field Inspector would be to assist in all aspects of deployment of Outside Plant in assigned markets. Responsibilities include ensuring the integrity of the extensive FTTH fiber optic network by performing various duties including confirming facility placement, and completing regular cable, equipment, or pole inspections. Incumbent must have the ability to communicate with contractors performing such work with a basic understanding of industry standards and construction of FTTH fiber optic networks. Field Inspectors are also responsible for properly reporting any issues to the management team.

We have an experienced team of telecommunications executives, who have previously built and operated fiber optic networks and have a $250M equity investment from an experienced telecommunications investor, Oak Hill Capital Partners. We began construction in several cities in Northern Ohio and expect to begin providing service to customers during the 4th quarter 2022.
Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections of fiber optic network to confirm production numbers, ensure restoration is completed properly and satisfactorily.
Take concise field notes and be responsible for all fieldwork and staking sheets, permits, ROW, and the final drafting of the field notes when required.
Understand outside plant design principles and industry standards.
Functional knowledge of PC applications and OSP record and/or computer aided drafting systems.
Perform other assisting duties as requested.

Education and Experience
GED or High School diploma. Valid non-suspended Ohio driver's license. Basic computer skills.
