Key Responsibilities
- Operate fiber optic test equipment, including OTDRs, scopes, and light meters, to assess and maintain fiber optic infrastructure.
- Detect and isolate network faults within the NOC, troubleshoot issues, and implement remediation strategies to ensure uninterrupted network services.
- Configure, maintain, and test network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, Ethernet microwave radios, and DC power plants.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed about project status, field team issues, and any matters that may impact client relations.
Key Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated, strong communication skills, passionate about network reliability
