Talento Search Group has an opening for a Field Automation & Controls Technician with a growing manufacturing company. This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is $100,000-130,000 per year, depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Write and edit ladder logic for manufacturing equipment
- Wire PLC control panels and wire from controls to motors and sensors
- Create drawings and schematics to wire PLC to sensors
- Install and assemble PLCs, control cabinets, relays, light curtains, motors, and cylinders
- Troubleshoot and repair VFD's, DC drives, and HMI's
- Purchase new equipment and manage automation projects
- Travel 80% of the time - home every weekend
Experience Needed:
- At least 5 years of electronic technician experience
- Degree or Certificate in electronics or related field
- Must have PLC editing experience with Ladder Logic
- Experience with Solidworks & CAD is preferred
- Strong experience with VFD's, DC drives, and HMI's
- Must be willing to travel 80% of the time. Home every weekend
