Fiber Optic Project Supervisor

Position Overview: The Project Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of Fiber Optic Projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, as well as extensive knowledge of Fiber Optic technology and installation practices. The Project Supervisor will work closely with project managers, field technicians, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

   • Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans and schedules, including task assignments, timelines, and milestones.
   • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.

2. Resource Management:

   • Allocate resources effectively to ensure that project objectives are met within budgetary constraints.
   • Supervise field technicians and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans and safety protocols.

3. Quality Control and Assurance:

   • Implement quality control processes to monitor and evaluate the performance of workmanship and materials.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

4. Risk Management:

   • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
   • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to address concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
   • Provide regular updates to project managers and senior management on project status, budget, and performance metrics.
