Position Overview:We are seeking dedicated and skilled Fiber Drop Team Members to join our dynamic team. As a Fiber Drop Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the expansion of our fiber optic network, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible internet service. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and repair of fiber optic drop cables.
- Safely and efficiently work with fiber optic equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best placement of fiber optic cables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fiber optic network installation or a related field is preferred, but not nessecery.
- Knowledge of fiber optic installation techniques and best practices is preferred, but not nessecery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
