We have two areas of production that would be performing tasks such as: packaging products, sealing bottles, palletizing finished goods, restocking supplies. These are fast-paced positions and requires continuous standing and walking with repetitive lifting of 40 to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Below, read about the responsibilities our Fertilizer Production Team Members hold:

Ensures product being produced is of top quality and alerts supervisor of any issues that reduces that quality. This includes ensuring that labels are applied correctly, lids/seals are correct, bottles are clean and ready for retail sales and that boxes of product are undamaged with sharp edges and properly labeled.

Maintains flow of production with pace of machinery:
Manual Liquid Line:

• Common knowledge of filling machine required. Ensure date codes and labels are correct.

Large Product Line:

• Common knowledge of filling machine required. Ensure date codes and labels are correct.
• Must be able to aid in building finished pallet as well as feeding machine.
• Must be able to properly clean machine.

High Speed Line:

• Basic knowledge of machine functions required including proper cleaning techniques.
• Ensure date codes and labels are correct.
• Ensure bottles are clean with consistent packaging with the ability to troubleshoot box label machine.

AMS:

• Ensure date codes are present and that product is packaged with desiccants/scoops as required.
• Product is weighed ensuring minimum weight is met on all facets of products.
• Basic knowledge of machine functions a must including proper cleaning techniques.

Other General Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Bottling: manipulating empty packaging into position under production line. Operates controls to fill packaging to required level.
• Packaging: Places filled, sealed product in boxes with required quantity with correct product; and ensures broken or defective product does not make it into finished boxes.
• Palletizing: Places boxes in neat stacks on pallets using pre-determined patterns and counts; and ensures broken or defective product does not make it onto finished pallets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work space by cleaning all material spilled on, under or around raw materials or liquid lines.
• Neatly organize finished product in storage area to maximize space and efficiency.
• Regular attendance and timeliness.
• Follows and complies with all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• All other tasks as assigned by the company.
