Job Summary:

As a Fence Builder at Innovative Projects and Designs, you will play a vital role in constructing sturdy and aesthetically pleasing fences that complement our clients' properties. Your expertise in fence installation techniques, craftsmanship, and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering superior fencing solutions that meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan and organize fencing projects effectively.
• Interpret fence layout plans and blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare the worksite by clearing debris, measuring the area, and marking the fence line accurately.
• Install various types of fences, including wooden, vinyl, chain-link, metal, and composite, adhering to design specifications.
• Assemble and secure fence panels, posts, rails, and other components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Measure and cut materials with precision to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Level and plumb fence posts, ensuring the stability and uniformity of the fence.
• Install gates and hardware, incorporating locks and latches for security purposes.
• Apply finishes and treatments to wooden fences, such as staining or painting, to enhance durability and appearance.
• Inspect completed fences for quality, ensuring they meet safety and structural standards.
• Repair and replace damaged fences as needed, identifying issues and implementing solutions promptly.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and provide information about the project progress.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior Fence Builders or apprentices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fence Builder or relevant field, with a minimum of [Specify number of years] years of fence installation experience.
