Female Evening Staff Support IMMEDIATE NEED (MULTIPLE HIRES)

The Palisades House is a transformative, transitional gender affirming recovery home for individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse and mental health issues. We are looking to fill a position for Female Staff Support Technician for evening and swing shifts. This will be part time with ability to pick up and fill in.

This position will require direct work with residents at the peer level by forming strong relationships, implementing directives passed on by the program director and coordinate care by identifying the IMMEDIATE NEEDs of each resident.

• Qualifications include knowledge of addictions, addiction treatment, and 12 Step recovery process
• The ability to maintain a clean therapeutic environment
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
• Basic computer skills to log reports
• If a person in Recovery a minimum of 9 months of sobriety

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of community resources and systems to effectively navigate clients through the service network
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

This position requires a high level of empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of motivational interviewing techniques and the ability to apply them in a client-centered approach.
