Feed Delivery Driver

Farmers Grain & Feed Mill seamlessly integrates order processing, formulation control, and manufacturing for commercial feed operations. The solution enables the feed mill to deliver the right feed to the right place at the right timewith fewer errors, less rework and better cost control.

We are looking for a 1st shift Full-Time Feed Delivery Driver/Production Operator who is responsible for driving a tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver feed products to customers. In addition to this, would also be responsible for acting as a production operator when not driving.

Driving/Transporting Goods

• Drives truck to deliver feed goods to customer.
• Utilize good customer service skills at all times, when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on truck/daily pre-trip inspections.
• Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload truck.
• Keeps vehicle clean at all times in accordance with company policy.

Production

• Assists in the process of monitoring finished bulk and bagged feeds.
• Operates the feed equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist management with production and inventory planning and control for both ingredients and finished products.

General/Other Duties

• Ensures safety compliance working in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies
• Accurately completes and maintains assigned reports, logs and documents
• Makes sure work area is neat and clean.

Experience & Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (HSED or GED).
• Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Must have a current, valid CDL Class A or be willing to obtain one.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, turn, twist, climb ladders, stairs and bins.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
