SalaryH&S Logistics Inc with FedEx Ground has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Delivery Drivers in Roanoke, VA. Our Delivery Drivers will be operating either sprinter vans, cargo vans, or box trucks in the Lynchburg and surrounding areas. You will be operating out of the FedEx terminal at 1935 Blue Hills Drive NE, Roanoke, VA. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team! Pay: $150-180/day

Typical work hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM or until delivery completion

DUTIES OF DELIVERY DRIVER:
- Arrive at Roanoke FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages by 7:30am
- Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows.
- Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily.
- Operate delivery vans safely, securely, and competently.
- Learn the route(s) and the customer needs to be serviced by our company.
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
- Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately
- Scanning and logging packages
DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
- Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
- Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
- Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 100 lbs
- Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
- Drivers must be able to make 70-150 stops per day
- Amazon Experience Qualifies as Driving Experience
- Additional experience as a box truck driver, Delivery Driver, warehouse driver, or non-CDL truck driver will also be considered.
