Seattle EMDR Associates (SEA) is a group therapy practice started with the intention to provide clients with skillful and compassionate care and therapists with a supportive and empowering workplace.

I want to provide the opportunity for you to come in and do the therapy you are passionate about doing, without the crushing caseloads of community mental health, or the overwhelming responsibilities of running your own private practice.

I am looking for fully or associate licensed mental health professionals (LMHC/A, LMFT/A, LCISW) who have been trained through an EMDRIA approved training and use EMDR as a primary treatment modality. The right addition to our team will be fun, conscientious, social justice minded, and interested in ongoing professional development and collaboration. Diverse applicants encouraged to apply!

We typically have a waitlist between 50-200 clients at a time, so we'll be able to get you up and running with new clients as soon as you're onboarded. We work with clients aged 13 and up.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in counseling or related field
• Active, unrestricted or provisional license in the State of Washington (A's ok!)
• Available to build up to at least 20-25 hours of clinical work per week
• Have begun training in EMDR through an EMDRIA approved training
• Utilization of EMDR as a primary modality

Other Qualification Preferences:

• At least 2 years in a Community Mental Health Setting
• Certification through EMDRIA

Hours:

I have some flexibility, understanding that you may be transitioning out of a full time or part time job. The minimum expectation is that you will build to 20-25 clinical hours plus admin and consultation. We have office space available in our Federal Way office with the option to include working from home for extra flexibility. Fully remote work, while located in WA state, is an option.
