Founded in 2002, Golden Key Group, LLC (GKG) is a full-service federal Human Resources (HR) and Human Capital (HC) services company. Since inception, GKG has supported more than 50 Federal agencies and established a reputation of a commitment to excellence by providing consistent, high-quality performance to our customers. GKG is currently supporting the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) Human Resource Division which requires the appropriate level of skilled contract support to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance with day-to-day human resource operations. The successful HR Generalists must possess the required knowledge of Federal HR to support all processing activities needed by the DEA HR Division.


  • Conduct comprehensive recruitment processes to attract and hire qualified candidates for federal positions
  • Utilize knowledge of federal hiring regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with government standards
  • Perform job analysis and classification to accurately determine the appropriate pay grade and occupational series for positions
  • Evaluate and update position descriptions in accordance with federal standards
  • Review and assess applications to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for federal positions
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and other tools to streamline the evaluation process
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring a fair and thorough assessment of candidates' qualifications and suitability for federal roles
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop interview questions and evaluation criteria
  • Apply knowledge of veterans preference rules and regulations to prioritize qualified veterans in the hiring process.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a diverse pool of candidate
  • Other duties as assigned. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five to seven (5-7) years of experience in Federal Staffing and recruitment.

  • Excellent understanding of federal employment laws, regulations, and policies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in USA Staffing
  • Knowledge of EmpowHR
  • Familiarity with Position Description libraries
  • Familiarity with the National Finance Center (NFC) or similar HRIT
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • This position requires a candidate with a solid background in Federal Staffing, a keen understanding of government regulations, and excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Possess, or have the ability to attain, a Public Trust
