Job Description
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000
Responsibilities:
- Researching Bid Platforms:
- Monitor and research various bid platforms to identify and track active Requests for Quotes (RFQs) relevant to Federal Sales.
- Stay informed about government procurement opportunities and market trends.
- Communications with Purchasing Personnel:
- Establish and maintain effective communication with purchasing personnel within federal agencies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
- Offer/Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with the RPG team to develop compelling offers and proposals in response to identified opportunities.
- Ensure that proposals align with client needs, comply with regulatory requirements, and reflect the organization's capabilities.
- Bid Responses:
- Manage the end-to-end process of responding to bids, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bid responses.
- GSA Information Management:
- Work closely with the RPG team to keep General Services Administration (GSA) information up to date.
- Update Representations and Certifications (REPS), Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and other federal and state entity registrations.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the management of contract data, including renewals, modifications, and terminations.
- Contract Renewals:
- Proactively pursue contract renewals and extensions by engaging with clients and understanding their evolving needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during the renewal process.
- Growth Potential:
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in Federal Sales administration, with the potential for career advancement.
- Work towards becoming the GSA Sales Lead, taking on additional responsibilities related to leading and coordinating GSA sales efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Federal Sales administration, bid management, and proposal development.
- Familiarity with GSA schedules and federal procurement processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
- Proficiency in using bid platforms and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of federal and state entity registration processes.
