Federal - Oracle Developer

This role will support the Oracle EBS implementation project for our federal client. In addition, will support design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging, implementations, enhancements, reduce risk of access controls failures, business and operational efficiencies. This shall involve, but is not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas
• Troubleshoot basic issues on all types of business and technical systems
• Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals
• Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing
• Serve as a key member on one of the Agile Framework scrum teams supporting the MROi solution using unmodified commercial software
• Develop and support applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, and points of view related to the MROi solution
• Provide analysis and problem resolution for fixes to reported problems
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and provide Oracle training, as required
• Interact and communicate effectively with logistics and technology senior/middle management
• Participate in MROi process improvement workshops identifying gaps, and providing solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes
• Apply basic skills and experience in systems development, detailed knowledge of business processes, technical background and supervisory skills to implement business solutions
• Support project teams Assist the Scrum Master and Product Owner, as required
• Learn to write User Stories and decompose user stories into smaller, actionable tasks
• Have frequent (daily) communication with and demonstration of progress to the Scrum Master

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related working experience as an Oracle Developer performing Oracle Applications Analysis, Design, and Development.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Federal Financials EBS R12 or later version supporting design, development, and implementations
• Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Financials, Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Oracle 19c database
• Proficient in designing and requirement for RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Configuration, Enhancements) Implementation, Conversion, and Data Migration
• Experience working with logistics legacy systems and experience with ODI, including migration support, a plus

Preferred:

• Exposure to working with teams in virtual environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Experience with government contracting preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems, Programming Engineering, and/or related technology

Security Clearance:

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
