Description
As the cornerstone between material science and mechanical engineering, design experiments to characterize materials, advance mathematical descriptions and simulation workflow, and validate them at various scales to deploy to the company-wide FEA community. Be a communication channel with suppliers and vendors to explore new technologies and simulation methods. You will be fully integrated with the product design team from the earliest stages to support ground breaking products. Interpret the system level FEA results and compare with highly instrumented tests to close identified gaps through the bottom-up approach.
Education & Experience
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Material Science, or similar discipline
