We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Mechanic/Ranch Hand. As a Mechanic/Ranch Hand, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our ranch and shop. If you have a passion for farming, working with animals, and operations of a mechanic shop this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Duties:
- Perform general farm and ranch duties including basic sorting and working of livestock
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Repair and maintain fences, gates, and other structures on the ranch
- Assist with basic mechanic work like oil changes, greasing machinery, and replacing parts to keep machinery running.
- Use hand tools to perform various tasks
- Handle and care for cattle
- Assist with the transportation of animals as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on a farm or ranch is preferred
- Knowledge of farm machinery operation and maintenance
- Proficient in using hand tools for various tasks
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repairs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
