Farmhouse Fresh 2 Go - Team Member

Position Summary:

Responsibilities involve preparing high quality food quickly and efficiently following the Companys food safety measures and presentation. This Team Member will work as part of a team to ensure that our guests receive the highest quality food items in a timely, easy and pleasant manner. This role supports the Farmhouse Fresh 2 Go Unit Manager and other Team Members in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
• When assigned to the food service area, ensuring that the recipes and food prep procedures are followed correctly. That food is wrapped and labeled correctly.
• When assigned to the food service area, ensuring that the presentation and work areas are kept sparkling clean, maintain company standards, adhering to standard food safety preparation and sanitization protocols, and maintenance of equipment.
• Effectively operate the register, processing sales transactions in an efficient and friendly manner to minimize guest wait time.
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the unit (inside and out) ensuring that the coffee station is clean and stocked; the food service area is spotless.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, including coolers and hot food cases, rotating stock and keeping product levels full so that we have what our guests desire and achieve the Company goal of 100% in-stock at all times.
• Lead by example in execution of Company values, programs, processes and policies.
• Maintain proper stock levels (ordering) and proper rotation of all food product in the Farmhouse Fresh 2 Go food cases to ensure that we are 100% in-stock and our guests have the selection they want
• Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Farmhouse Fresh 2 Go Unit Manager or F2GO Food Service Lead.

Working Relationships:Farmhouse Fresh 2 Go Unit Team Members and Unit Manager, CF Team Members and Store Manager, VP of Culinary and Food Service, Food Team, District Manager, Company personnel, and various vendors.

Minimum Education: N/A

Preferred Education: High School or GED

Minimum Experience: 6 months retail or food experience

Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, service or restaurant environment Licenses/Certifications: Serv Safe Certified a plus but not mandatory

Soft Skills: Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and Team Members High energy Ability to move from one activity to another quickly Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others

Other:Scheduling This position is both part time (up to 29 hrs) and full-time (32-40 hrs) and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Cumberland Farms can be open 24 hours depending on the store.

Weekend & Holiday hours are required.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; ability to lift 40 lbs, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in freezer and cooler (cold temperatures).
