SalaryCommercial scale eco-farm located in Athens County is looking for a part-time employee. Duties include caring for a flock of 1400 free-ranging hens- including washing & packaging of eggs- and managing a rotationally grazed sheep herd of 50 ewes. In addition to learning about sustainable agricultural practices, there is the opportunity for an employee to learn building trade skills, metal fabrication, and equipment maintenance/ repair. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. Starting pay is $12 per hour with a potential raise after 3 months.
