SalaryCandidate will be responsible for a wide variety of property maintenance, feeding and caring for farm animals, cleaning, mowing, gardening, etc. We are seeking an individual that can work independently and is outcome oriented.
Tasks may involve sheet-rock, texturing and painting, light electrical and plumbing repair, exterior siding instillation, caulking, painting, and repair, window instillation, interior door and trim work, cabinetry installation, and grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, blowing, fences, etc), appliance repair and installation. Duties will include all maintenance required from foundation to roof for commercial buildings and Farm. Your work will involve performing various skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of equipment and buildings and the whole property including tractor, mowing, trimming, gardening, etc. Work can involve responsibility for proficiency in several trades, with working conditions and the degree of supervision exercised differing according to the location and nature of assignments. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of building systems and appliances including electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, and Farming, etc.
Apply basic skills in the following trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, carpet care, general appliance repair, etc. to ensure quality maintained properties.
Perform routine service repairs, and preventative maintenance of all aspects, in a home, common areas, grounds and outbuildings. Repair concrete, masonry, roof, fencing, when required. Assist Exterminator when required. Make sure storage areas and entrances are locked and adequate lighting is maintained. Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on the manufacturers’ recommendations and operating manuals. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required
2 or more year’s full-time maintenance experience or experience in related field is preferred.
Formal training or experience in the following areas: carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, painting, refurbishing and cleaning, air-conditioning.
Willingness to assist with and work in areas other than strictly repair maintenance; such as janitorial, custodial, gardening, painting, etc.
Ability to work with co-workers professionally.
Must have ability to work safely and follow safety directives.
- Required Education / Training
High School degree or equivalent trade-related courses required.
Any college or advanced technical training is preferred.
- Working Conditions:
Work conditions will vary from mowing lawns to extremely dirty jobs such as plumbing repair and grounds work.
Will be exposed to cleaning solvents, paint fumes, dust, sharp objects and live electrical wiring, animal waste, etc.
