Form of workAn agricultural worker maintains crops such as fruits, vegetables. They typically work under the supervision of an agricultural manager or farm manager, where they receive on-the-job training.
This position will be responsible for the following duties at the assigned farm.
1. Perform herbicide applications with backpack if the label allows it
2. Fix irrigation issues on overhead and drip.
3. Help to do some basic maintenance on the equipment and irrigations pumps
4. Use weed eater
5. Clean the farm when necessary
6. Perform new planting in the field
7. Reset new plants in the field
8. Put wraps and stakes on new plants
9. Apply fertilizer by hand if needed
10. Fix problem areas with shovel if tractor cannot do it
11. Clean sprinklers during irrigation
12. Report all irrigation system issues to the manager
13. Help to organize chemical containers
14. Keep the barn clean
15. Remove dead plants in the field
16. Perform base pruning in the field
17. Perform sanitation pruning in the field
18. Be involved in all company projects
19. Pull weeds as needed
20. Help at other locations if needed
