Form of work
SalaryMonday through Saturday farming operation that produces small grains, corn, peanuts, and cotton. This position is for people with the skills to do any and all jobs as needed, including but not limited to: Cultivating, planting, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting, repair work, etc.
*Duties*
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
- Monitor, calibrate and adjust production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and products.
- Perform inventory in storage periodically.
*Experience*
- 5+ years row crop experience.
- Experience planting, spraying, and harvesting small grains, corn, peanuts and cotton.
- Preferred experience operating GPS, harvesting equipment, carts, planters.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery or equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to lift 50 pound objects.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
