DAY TO DAY AS A FAMILY WELFARE SERVICES PARTNER

As a Family Welfare Services Partner at Granite Pathways, you work alongside parents involved with the Division for Children, Youth, and Families. You're comfortable working in ambiguity, adjusting to varying community resources and welfare needs. You partner with DCYF staff to ensure the safety and well-being of families working in the local DCYF office and other community locations. You have the opportunity to facilitate parenting education sessions, both individual and group, and are expected to complete administrative tasks, including case documentation, written correspondence, and other data entry duties, always handling confidential information with the utmost care.

We offer comprehensive human services training in mandated reporting, motivational interviewing, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and trauma-informed practice, to name just a few. Within one year of hire, you become a licensed CRSW and maintain continued requirements for license renewals. In addition, you have ample opportunities to develop your skills through shadowing, role-playing, and mentorship programs. To qualify as a Family Welfare Services Partner, you need:

• High school diploma, GED, or HiSET
• Knowledge of the family court process
• Experience with substance use disorder, mental health services, and child welfare system (lived or professional)
• Reliable transportation to visit family homes and locations around NH
