Family Practice Physician (With Ob) - J1 / H1 Visa Accepted

Hospital in Georgia looking for a full time Family Practice Physician with OB.

OB (can use OB/GYN or FP/OB)

• Solo OB in the group – 8 total providers
  • Strong referral base
  • Office is open Monday-Friday 8-5
  • No weekend clinic hours
  • Call is 1:3 shared with two independent OB
  • See 20 - 25 patients per day
  • Admit to County Hospital
  • low acuity level Nursery with 180 annual deliveries currently- Office and prenatal care in nearby community (Baxley)
  • Level III NICU in Savannah

1. Does Hospital offer any robotic surgery capabilities? no
2. If a Family Practice/Obstetrics (FP/OB) physician is interested, would this position include opportunities for family medicine practice, or is it exclusively for OB/GYN? Fp/ob would definitely get medicine and in fact, I prefer an FP/OB. Even better if they can see newborn nursery. And I have a nursing home they can admit too as well for any geriatric medicine they may be interested in.
3. Regarding the 1:3 shared call schedule, does the OB/GYN physician who is on call the night before receive a following day off as part of the schedule? yes
4. Is the annual delivery volume of 180 divided among the three total OB/GYN providers currently? Divided among the 2 we have. We are putting this new position in Baxley (just like the Urologist) very close. The hospital in Baxley doesn’t deliver babies anymore and we are going to gain that market. They were delivering up to 300 a year and due to internal conflicts, closed the service and decided not to recruit.
