Form of workWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s healthcare team, with a primary focus on Women's Health and primary care. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive and patient-centered care, demonstrating expertise in Women's Health issues and a strong foundation in primary care practices. While experience in gynecology is preferred, they welcome applicants with a solid background in family medicine who are eager to expand their skills in Women's Health.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, breast exams, and Pap smears.
- Diagnose and treat common Women's Health conditions, such as menstrual disorders, contraception management, and menopausal symptoms.
- Provide preconception counseling and family planning services.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and health maintenance practices.
- Promote wellness and disease prevention through patient education and community outreach.
- Foster open and empathetic communication with patients, addressing their concerns and providing emotional support.
- Discuss treatment options, potential side effects, and involve patients in shared decision-making.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP program).
- Current state Nurse Practitioner license and national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong background in primary care, with a preference for experience in Women's Health or gynecology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
Please note- The annual base salary range is $100k to $130k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
