Family Medicine Registered Nurse

We are searching for an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for our Family Medicine team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to people of all ages, throughout their lives. From sore throats and scuffed knees to high blood pressure and memory loss, the health needs of a family are as unique as the people in it.

Responsibilities:

• Perform as a member of the healthcare team, applying the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes.
• Use effective interviewing and physical assessment skills to perform patient/family health status assessments by collecting and analyzing physical and psychosocial data, identifying needs, problems, and patterns/trends, rendering an appropriate nursing diagnosis/intervention, and evaluating the patient's response to the plan of care.
• Exercise professional nursing judgment when performing a broad range of procedures and treatments appropriate to the level of care needed, and prioritizing patient acuity and workload demands. The RN will
• Function with greater autonomy by consistently demonstrating independent clinical decision-making abilities.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN License.

Schedule:

• Full-time or part-time, 20-40 hours/week
• Flexible start time; 730a or 8a
• NO WEEKENDS!
